These terms govern your use of Namoly. By using the service (including without an account), you agree to them. Namoly is offered free of charge and as is.
The service
Namoly produces an objective, explained report scoring a candidate brand name across domain availability, memorability, phonetics, and cross-language safety. The report is an objective first screen to help you shortlist names.
Not legal, trademark, or brand clearance
The report is not legal advice and is not a trademark, brand, or legal clearance. In particular, Namoly does not perform trademark screening and does not check social-handle availability. Domain results are best-effort signals, not a guarantee that a domain is registrable or free of third-party rights. Before committing to a name, obtain professional trademark and legal advice. You are solely responsible for the names you choose and use.
Acceptable use
Use Namoly only for lawful purposes. Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, probe, or circumvent the service or its rate limits, do not abuse it to attack third parties (including the external domain-lookup providers), and do not use it to infringe others' rights or applicable law. We may rate-limit, suspend, or terminate access that violates these terms.
No warranty
Namoly is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy or completeness of results. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the service or its reports.
Changes to the service and these terms
Because the service is free, we may change, limit, or discontinue it (or these terms) at any time, with or without notice. Continued use after a change to these terms means you accept the updated terms. The “Last updated” date above reflects the current version.
Your data
Our handling of your data (Google sign-in, the external domain check, what we store, and your deletion rights) is described in our Privacy Policy.
Governing terms
These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Namoly regarding the service. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect.
